Mr. Thomas Ray (Tommy) Simmons

Thomas Ray Simmons, 85, died Monday, July 28, 2014, at Baptist Hospital. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 31, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, with services following at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Lakewood South Memorial Park. A veteran of the Navy, Tommy spent his entire working days serving others with Simmons Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a very active and charter member of Creston Hills Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Donis; son Mark Simmons; sisters Doris Fail (J.T.) and Barbara Carroll; four grandchilden, and numerous nieces and nephews.
