Thomas Eugene Vanlandingham, 78, was born May 28, 1933 and went to be with his Lord and his Wife, Lois, on August 28, 2011. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 11 am until the 2pm service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence with burial following in the Garden of Memories.\ \ Van was born to Emmett and Rubye Cannon Vanlandingham in Calhoun County, MS; where he attended school through the fifth grade. His family moved to Memphis, TN where he completed his education.\ \ Van served honorably in the United Stated Marine Crop during the Korean War. In 1959 he met the love of his life, Lois, and they were married on Christmas Day in 1960. The two weeks separating her death on August 14, 2011 and his death was the only time they were apart. \ \ Shortly after Van and Lois were Married, Van went to work for TrailMobile Trailer in Memphis. Because of his abilities and ambition, he worked his way from mechanic to branch Manager. \ \ Van and Lois loved to deep sea fish and travel in their motor home with their beloved poodles; first Dusty, then Rusty and finally Dandy.\ \ Van and Lois were members of Trinity Baptist Church in Florence and supported the Kenneth Bobo Evangelistic Association.\ \ In the 1970's they moved to Jackson and started their own business, Van Camp Trailer & Body, INC, which is operated today by their son, Joe.\ \ Van is survived by his daughter, Janice Scott; two granddaughters, Kristin and Kimberly; one son, Joe Lesley; one sister, Lael Miller and her sons, Daniel and Samuel Miller of Brighton, TN.\
