Thomas C. Essary, Jr.

Thomas C. Essary, Jr., 56, died Monday, October 18, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago, IL. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday, October 22, 2010 and 10-11am Saturday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 11am Saturday, October 23, 2010 in the funeral home chapel followed by interment at Lakewood South.\ \ Tommy was a native of Jackson, MS, having graduated from Forest Hill High School and attended Ole Miss. He had resided for the last 25 years in Chicago, a city he came to love, working in furniture sales and interior design. His generous heart and winning smile endeared him to all who met him. Tommy was famous for spinning tales of his humorous childhood experiences.\ \ He is preceded in death by his parents T.C. and Juanita Essary and sister Lynn Bowers. \ \ Survivors include his brother Davis Essary; sisters Kay Watkins, Margaret Essary, Doris Essary, Kelly Brown and Jan Hays; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.\ \
