Tina Dougherty

Tina "Bit" Theresa Dougherty, 57, went to be with her heavenly father on January 23, 2013. Visitation will be Friday, January 25, 2013 from 5-8pm. Funeral services will begin at 2:30pm Saturday, January 26. All will be held at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Internment will follow at New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Braxton, MS.\ \ Because of Tina's handicap, she became our special lady who taught us to love deeper, work harder, and give more of ourselves. She empowered us to become better and stronger. Tina was a resident at Ellisville State School for 36 years. \ \ Miss Dougherty is preceded in death by her father Charles W. Dougherty \ \ Survivors include her mother Carmen Dougherty Andrews of Byram, MS; 10 brothers and sisters, Zita Williams (David), Oscar Dougherty (JoAnn), Julie Richardson (Mack), William "Bennie" Dougherty (Jewel), Karl Dougherty (Kay), Ray Dougherty (Gale), Frances "Sugar" Romedy (Randal), Lita Edwards (Gary), Penny Eichwurtzle (Douglas), and Rusty Dougherty, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.\ \ \ \
