Mr. Thomas Harvel Easley Jr., 87, a business man, died August 22, 2010, at River Region Hospital, Vicksburg. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday August 25, 2010, 2:00 P.M. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Visitation is one hour prior to service. Rev. Ben James will officiate.\ \ Mr. Easley owned and operated a number of businesses through the years including Commercial Coins, Clover Leaf Grill on N. State Street, Central Cafe on Capitol Street, Yum Yum Steak House on Hwy 49, and the Save-A-Buck Pawn Shop on Terry Road, which he owned and operated until 2004. Mr. Easley also served as Hinds County Coroner in his early years. Mr. Easley enjoyed ham radio, photography, Civil War history and was a private pilot. Although handicapped, nothing prevented Mr. Tom from living life to the fullest.\ \ Tom is survived by his wife Ruth Easley and daughters Bonnie Stamps (Harold), Debbie Adams (Al), Tracey Rogers (Ken), Angela Thomason (Randy), and son Thomas H. Easley III (Sandra), stepsons David Gant, Louis Gant; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandsons and their little baby girl dog "Baney". Mr. Easley was preceded in death by daughter Vicky Lynn Easley.\ \
