Tom Walley

Thomas E. "Tom" Walley, 65, of Jackson, went to be with the Lord Sunday May 23, 2010 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. \ \ A memorial service will be held 11am Wednesday at Country Woods Baptist Church with interment at Edwards Cemetery in Richton at a later time. Chancellor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.\ \ Mr. Walley was born in Richton to Wiley and Ruth Edwards Walley. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1966-1970 and being stationed in Japan. Mr. Walley was a banker, previously with Unifirst Bank, then Trustmark National Bank. He was a member of Country Woods Baptist Church and the adult men's Sunday school class.\ \ A special thank you to the VA Medical Center for the care they have given and to all of those who have prayed, blessed, shared a meal or a kind word with Tom during this time, may God bless you.\ \ Memorials may be made to Country Woods Baptist Church.
