Mr. Tommie G. Ashley

Tommie G. Ashley, 77, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at VA Hospital in Jackson. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He loved to sing and play his guitar, playing pool and watching Nascar. He enjoyed old country music, especially, Hank Williams and George Jones. He is preceded in death by his father, Hurston Lavell Ashley. Survivors include his mother, Myrtis Thomas of Terry; ex-wife and great friend, Faye Ashley of Terry; sons, Shaun Ashley of Watson, LA and Scott Ashley of Denham Springs, LA; brother, Billy K. Ashley of Terry; sister, Patsy (Thomas) Pace of Terry and 2 grandchildren.
