Mr. Tommy "Pops" Geter

Tommy Wayne “Pops” Geter,56 , passed away Friday, January 2, 2015 at his home in Terry. Visitation will be 10am until the 11am Memorial Service Monday, January 5, 2015 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Mr. Geter, a longtime resident of Clinton, had recently moved to Terry. Tommy had been self employed in the construction industry. He loved hunting, fishing and never met a stranger. He would help anyone in need, had a great sense of humor and was a loving Dad and Papaw. He is preceded in death by his mother Hazel Marie Foshee Geter. Survivors include his father Ronald Geter of Morton; daughters Ashley Geter Pevey (Joshua) of Terry and Jessica Geter of Clinton; wife Teresa Little Geter of Terry; grandchild Maci Lynne Pevey and several brothers and sisters.
