Tony Brooks Husbands, lovingly known as Tony to his friends and family, passed on June 20,2024, at Mississippi Baptist Hospital. He was born in Raleigh, MS, on December 25, 1938.

Tony dedicated his career to the field of Chemistry, where his expertise shone brightly throughout his professional journey. He earned a degree from Mississippi State University, showcasing his commitment to knowledge and excellence.

Aside from his professional pursuits, Tony had a vibrant personality that left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Kind and welcoming, he had a unique ability to make everyone feel at ease around him.

In his leisure time, Tony found joy in cheering for Mississippi State during games, indulging in the tranquility of fishing excursions, and engaging in friendly matches of shuffleboarding. These hobbies reflected his passion for life and the simple pleasures it offered.

The family and friends of Tony Brooks Husbands mourn his loss while cherishing the memories they shared with him. He is survived by his lifelong partner, Marsha Welch, as well as his sons Joshua and Anthony, and his daughter Michele.

Services to honor and remember Tony will take place at Chancellor Funeral Home Byram Location in Byram, MS. A visitation will be held on June 24, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. His final resting place will be at Welch Family Cemetery in Bogue Chitto, MS, with the burial ceremony scheduled for 1:30 PM on the same day.
