Twila Shuler Hansen

Twila Shuler Hansen, born on March 28, 1962, in Jackson, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024, in Raymond, Mississippi. She a cherished mother, grandmother, and sister, known for her warm heart and unwavering dedication to her family and friends.

Twila's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, kindness, and a genuine desire to help others. She found immense joy in being a grandmother to her three grandchildren.  Her grandkids were her pride and joy, and she showered them with affection and attention. She loved her pets and never wanted to be apart from them.  

Twila is preceded in death by her father, J.C. Shuler; husband, Scott Bradley Hansen; and a sister, Angela Jeannette Roberts. 

Twila is survived by her mother, Mary Alice Shuler; her daughters, Erica Graves and Amber Aleseia Higgins; her grandchildren, Chace Allen, Alissa Elizabeth, and Tessa Marie Graves.  She is also survived by her sisters, Cynthia Joyce Tucker-White and Melissa Denise Smith, as well as her brothers, Jason Craig Shuler and Jimmy Dale Shuler. Twila valued her family deeply, always making time for her loved ones and cherishing the moments they spent together.

Twila was passionate about fishing and enjoyed traveling, she relished the opportunities to explore new places and create lasting memories with those she cared about. Her generous spirit extended to all around her, as she was often found lending a helping hand to anyone in need. She truly had a giving heart, and her love for people never went unnoticed.

Her memorial services will be held on December 14, 2024, at Chancellor Funeral Home Byram location. The visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 12:00 PM until 12:45 PM. The funeral home is located at 7225 S Siwell Rd, Byram, MS, 39272.
