Mrs. Vesta Elizabeth Pitts

Vesta Elizabeth Creel Pitts, 69, a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, went to be with her heavenly Father on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. Visitation will be Friday, August 12th from 5-8 PM and Saturday, August 13th from 9 AM until the 10 AM Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Vesta was born in Flora, MS to the late Sylvesta & Mattie Creel where she was raised and attended Flora Schools. She was retired from G.M. Packard Electric and was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Byram. She faithfully read her bible and loved the Lord with all her heart. She loved to crosstitch and shared many beautiful pieces with her family. She enjoyed spending time in Missouri with her husband, Bobby, in their cabin in the mountains. Her favorite pastime was being with her family. Heaven gained an Angel. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Tommy, Sam, George, J.B. and Little Johnny Creel. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 32 years, Bobby Pitts; her children, Vicky Toles, Tonya Daniels (Michael), Charlotte Lee, Bobby Pitts (Betsy), Danny Pitts (Meredith), Andy Pitts (Cindy), Brandy Dewitt (Josh), and Sherry Bryant (Jimmy); brothers, Marion Creel of Bentonia, Kenny Creel of Flora, and Guy Creel of Bentonia; sisters, Goldie Purvis of Flora, Emma Lee Hughes of Benton, and Vicky Jackson of Florence; many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
