V.H. \Bud\"" Blackwell

V.H. "Bud" Blackwell, 87, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Trinity Mission Health & Rehab in Clinton. Visitation will be 5-7pm Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram and 10am until the 11am funeral service Wednesday, February 11, 2009 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Lakewood South.\ \ Mr. Blackwell was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a retired motorcycle patrolman with MS Highway Patrol, a 32 degree Mason at Capitol Lodge #600, and a Wahabi Temple Shriner/ Heavyweight Motorcycle Corp. Mr. Blackwell's life love was family, motorcycles and law enforcement. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church\ \ He is preceded in death by his son Kenneth Blackwell. Survivors include his wife of 59 years Louise Blackwell of Jackson; son, Buddy R. Blackwell and wife Loreta of Terry; daughter, Rhonda Conerly and husband Al of Byram; sister, Mexie Merle Everett of Brandon; grandchildren Beau Blackwell, Mindy Beard and husband Chris.\
