Mrs. Viola White Shows

Mrs. Gladys Viola White Shows, 82, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at Briar Hill Rest Home in Florence. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 13th at 4 PM at Florence City Cemetery. Mrs. Shows was a member of First Baptist Church of Florence. Mrs. Shows is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Shows; siblings, Benton “Mutt” White, Lonnie White, J.B. White, Albert White, and Mamie Rogers; great grand son, Isaac Pearson; and grand son in law, Danny Tillman. She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Danny) Martin and Janis (Troy) Laird both of Florence; sisters, Lucy (Horace) Little of Fannin and Carlene (Bracy) Lewis of Florence; sisters- in- law, Joy White of Star and Christine White of Black Mountain, NC; brother, James (Barbara) White of Laurel; grandchildren, Nick (Amber) Pearson, Mark Ellis, Regina (Brad) Reis, Elizabeth Tillman, Jeffrey (Lyndi) Laird, Tammy Andrews, and Joe Martin; great grandchildren, J.T. Pearson, Alex Robinson, Jacob Reis, Emma Tillman, Adylyn Tillman, Avery Laird, Orry Yarbrough, and Addyson Andrews.
