Virginia Etheridge

Virginia Kay Etheridge, 48, passed away Friday, February 27, 2009 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 2-5pm Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 11am Monday, March 2, 2009 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Paradise Gardens Cemetery in Brandon. Rev. Glynn Pope will officiate.\ \ Mrs. Etheridge was born August 31, 1960 to George W. and Blondie Kent Etheridge in Watervliet, MI, and had lived in the Jackson area since 1973. She was a clerk in the retail business.\ \ Survivors include son, James M. Rodriguez of Jackson; daughters, Jennifer Rodrigues, Nora Rodrigues both of Pearl, April Rodrigues and Tracey Rodriguez both of Florence; brothers, John F. Etheridge of Jackson, Scottie Etheridge of Oxford, William Orville Etheridge of Irwin, TN, Mike Etheridge of Florence, Timothy Etheridge of Jackson, Gary Ethridge of Windsor, NC and Charles Lee Etheridge of Jackson and Bobby Smith of MI; sisters; Lois Rantz of HI and Linda Ann Golladay of Raymond; and 7 grandchildren.\ \ Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society.
