Ms. Virginia Rice Lewis

Our precious and loving mama Virginia Rice Lewis went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 5, 2016. She is running with full unhindered breath beside the River of Life. Visitation will be 11am until the 1pm funeral service Friday, January 8, 2016 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. Virginia was a lifelong Jackson resident, working in the Banking business as a teller, and was a faithful member of Relate Church. She is preceded in death by her father Bernard Synott and mother Rebecca Gore. She is survived by her children Ramona Strength (Adam), Lana Boudreaux, Rita Frederick (David), Preston Rice, Daniel Rice (Nichole) and Emily Rice. She had 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
