Vivian Marie Powell

Vivian Marie Powell passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023, in Jackson, MS. She was 85 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. The memorial service will follow at 11:00.

Vivian was born on August 10, 1938, to Ralph and Sarah Feagan Marti in Windsor, MO. She has lived in Florence for the past 30 years where she attended Marvin United Methodist Church. She worked as a delivery person for The Clarion Ledger for many years. Vivian LOVED dogs and was an amazing and talented artist. She loved taking care of family and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a smile that lit up the room.

Vivian is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Powell; daughter, Marilyn Fewell; and grandson, Thomas Brian Donald. She is survived by her daughters, Sarah Carpenter of Flowood, Sharon Donald (Randy) of Pearl; son, Rodney Lovejoy of Flower Mound, TX; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Eldred; brothers, Richard Feagan, Fred Feagan, and Dean Feagan.
