Mr. Walter Earl Patterson Sr.

Walter Earl Patterson, Sr., 82, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014? at Copiah Living Center in Crystal Springs. Visitation will be 5-8pm Monday, January 6, 2014 and 10-11am Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will begin at 11am Tuesday. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery. Mr. Patterson was born in Terry, MS to the late John Thomas Patterson and Rosie Lina Rymes Patterson. He was a painter for McGuffie Paint Contractors, was an avid fisherman and hunter and member of Christ Sanctified Holy Church. Survivors include his sons, Walter (Kay) Patterson, Jr. of Terry and John (Paula) Patterson of Florence; daughters, Brenda Lovern of Florence and Rosemary (David) Duran of Richland; sister, Hattie Crawford of Byram and Patsy Thrower of Indianapolis, IN; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
