Mr. Wayne Chick

Wendell Wayne Chick, 71, passed away Friday, September 16, 2016 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. A Memorial Service will be held at 11am Monday, September 19, 2016 at Lakeshore Church in Byram with a one hour visitation prior to service time at the church. Wayne was raised in Jackson and a longtime resident of Byram. He graduated from Central High School in 1962 and served in the U.S. Army National Guard. Wayne retired from Yellow Freight as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and the light of his life was his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of Lakeshore Church in Byram. He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas T. Chick and Beulah Lawless Chick and several siblings. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Sylvia Chick of Byram; daughter, Donna Foster (Chris) and their children Joshua and Katelyn of Byram; and extended family and a host of friends.
