Mr. Wayne Sullivan

Harold Wayne Sullivan, 71, went to be with his Lord after a 10 month battle with cancer on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at his home in Terry. Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday, December 5, 2017 and 10am until the 11am funeral service Wednesday, December 6, 2017, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Lakewood South. Wayne was born in Raleigh, MS to the late Harold Dean Sullivan and Mamie Susan Butler Sullivan. He was a graduate of Central High School and then attended Hinds Junior College where he played football and was All American. While there he met the love of his life Becky. He was also a Veteran of the U.S. Marines. Wayne lived in Terry for the last 40 years having come from Jackson and was a member of Southside Assembly of God. He was quick witted, enjoyed dominos and golf, was an avid fan of MSU and NASCAR and absolutely loved spending time with family. Survivors include his wife of 52 years Becky Sullivan of Terry; children, Micki (Jeff) Smith of Lena, Leigh Boyette of Florence and Chip (Brooke) Sullivan of Brandon; Kimberly Bogar of New Brunsfield, TX and her children Peyton & Hudson; brother, Tim Sullivan of Minneapolis, Minnesota; grandchildren, Lauren (Hunter) Dempsey, Skyler Rasberry, Kaitlyn Lee, Sydni Lee, Brooklynne Lee, Hayden Sullivan, Hannah Jo Sullivan and Eli Walley. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
