Wentworth Henry (Hank) Corley, Jr., age 77, died Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation is 9:30-11:30am, Saturday the 28th at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, followed by a funeral service at 11:30am. Mr. Corley was born and grew up in Biloxi, MS and graduated in Civil Engineering from Ole Miss. He proudly served in the Navy for 20 years, which took him and his family to many places around the world. He retired from Service as a LT Commander in 1977. He then worked as a Civil Engineer for the Mississippi State Highway Department, first in the Greenwood Office and for the remainder of his career in the Jackson Office, retiring in 2008. Survivors include: his wife, Camille S. Corley; daughter, Cynthia C. Ray and her husband, James; son, Wentworth Henry Corley, III, and his wife, Michelle, and her son, Jake; sisters, Nancy Lee Wheeler and Clair Lee Anderson, and their children. He is preceded in death by his father, Wentworth Henry Corley, Sr., and mother, Clara Lee Corley. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland or the charity of your choice.
