Wilbur \Ed\"" Lewis

Wilbur Edward Lewis, 77, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 at CMMC in Jackson.\ Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday, March 15, 2011 and Wednesday 9am until the 11am funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Lakewood South.\ \ Mr. Lewis had lived in Jackson since 1951 and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was with the Jackson Fire Department for 20 years, retiring in 1976. He worked the next 35 years at Capital Security Service as Security Manager.\ He was a 32 degree Mason of Pearl Lodge #23, A York Rite Wahabi Temple Shriner and past Worthy Patron of Jackson Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star. Mr. Lewis was a member of Raymond Presbyterian Church.\ \ Survivors include his wife of 55 years Carrol D. Lewis of Jackson; sons Frank Lewis of Jackson and Robert Lewis of Clinton; daughter Regenia C. Ferguson of Brandon; grandchildren Brandi C. Lewis, Colton Lewis, Drew C. Ferguson and Grayson Edward Ferguson.\
