Mr. Wilburn Preston Rice

Mr. Wilburn Preston Rice, 73, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at Merit Health Central in Jackson, MS. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 1st, 2015 at 6:00pm at Harrisville United Methodist Church in Harrisville, MS. Mr. Rice was a retired lineman from IBEW Local #605. He was preceded in death by his sister, Gelene Johnson. He is survived by his sons, Preston Rice of McKinney, TX and Daniel (Nichole) Rice of Byram, MS; daughter, Emily Rice of Jackson; brothers, Kenneth (Carol) Rice of Conroe, TX, Fred Rice of Florence, MS, Gary Rice of Harrisville, MS and Thomas Ray Rice of Braxton, MS; sisters, Dorothy Faye Humphries of Florence, MS, Rita Ann Breeden of Harrisville, MS, Linda Sue Berry of Pinola, MS, Betty Lou Moorehead of Richland, MS and Annie Mae Lawrence of Vidalia, LA; grandchildren, Madelyn and Caroline Rice; and a host of friends.
