Mrs. Wilda Abernathy

Wilda Abernathy, 75 of Jackson, MS died Sunday, February 7, 2016 at 8:55AM. She was an amazing lady who fought a long hard battle of sickness. She was a fighter until the end. Wilda was loved and will be missed deeply, may she rest in peace. Visitation will be 5-9pm Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram and 10am until the 11am funeral service Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Plain Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Richland, MS. Graveside services will be 2pm Wednesday at Pinola Cemetery. She is survived by her husband; John T. “Bo” Abernathy of Jackson, MS; daughters Debbie Abernathy Alsobrooks of Jackson, MS and Lisa Abernathy Waller and son-in-law Charles Waller of Magee, MS; one brother Neil Martin and sister-in-law Emily Martin of Franklinton, LA; three grandchildren; grandson John Austin Waller and wife Jessica Waller, granddaughter Tori Ferrell and husband Colby Ferrell and granddaughter Karley Waller; one great-grandchild Dallas Ferrell.
