Mr. Willard Malcom "Mack" Pitts

Willard Malcom “Mack” Pitts, 75, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at Merit Health Rankin in Brandon. Visitation will be Thursday, April 6th from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Mack worked as a master machinist for many years. His last employer was Bryant’s Machine Shop. He loved his children and family and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mack is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Viola Pitts. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lauren D. Pitts of Florence; sons, Malcom Ray (Connie) Pitts of Florence and Charles (Angela) Pitts of Florence; daughter, Rene (Tim) George of Florence; brothers, Sonny (Marie) Pitts of Flora, Bobby Pitts of Florence and Walter Dean (Kathy) Pitts of Kiln; sister, Faye (John) Bruce of Florence; grandchildren, Anthony Pitts, Ashley Pitts, Steven Pitts, Lauren M. Pitts, and Branden George; and great grandchildren Mollie Elizabeth Pitts and Savannah Rae Pitts.
