William "Bill" Crosser

William “Bill” Crosser passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in Florence.  He was 80 years old. 

Bill was born to James Lucion Crosser and Margaret Barnes Crosser on October 29, 1942, in Franklin, Tennessee. He served 10 years in the military; 6 in the U.S. Army and 4 in the U.S. Airforce. He was in Vietnam while in the Army and received the “Good Conduct Medal” and the “Vietnam Service Medal”. He spent his career as a System Analyst where he wrote programs and designed software. He was an extremely smart man, gifted in mathematics and all things computers. Bill enjoyed wood working, mainly cabinet building, and loved his family.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents; James Lucion Crosser and Margaret Barnes Crosser; daughter Christine Ann Crosser Coleman; sisters Beverly Crosser Watkins and Shirley Ann Crosser; brothers: James L. Tucker and Paul Raymond Crosser.  He is survived by his former wife; Renate Klein-Crosser; sister: Zetella Smith; daughters: Shirley Margaret Cook (Thomas) of Richland and Diane Carol Crosser of Florence; son, Charley Andrew Crosser (Juana) of Florence; grandchildren: Tabitha Depriest, William Benjamin McKeithen, Dr. Andrew Scott Jackson, Matthew William Allen, Olivia Claire Ford, Anna Warren and Jeremy Ingle, and numerous great grandchildren.
