William “Bo” Clark, 83, went home to be with his Savior on Monday, October 28, 2019 at his home in Florence. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, October 29th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30th at Briar Hill Baptist Church in Florence with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Briar Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Bo was born March 16, 1936 in Simpson County, MS to D.L. and Lois Clark, who preceded him in death. He is a member of First Baptist Church in Florence and was a former long-time member of Briar Hill Baptist Church. He was a quiet man with integrity that demanded respect. A devoted family man, Bo loved his family dearly and was married for 61 years to his sweetheart, Virginia. He was a member of Local #619 and he worked for many years as a Pneumatic Control Technician with Mississippi Control. After retiring, he enjoyed working in the yard, hunting, and fishing. Bo is survived by his beloved wife, Virginia Alliston Clark; sons, Randy (Pam) Clark, Brian (Becky) Clark, and Darren (Kim) Clark; grandchildren, Mandy, Brady, Ben and Gina; brothers, Emmett Clark, Doyle Clark and James Clark; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members, and many friends.
