Mr. William Franklin "Pete" Thomas

William Franklin “Pete” Thomas, 86 went to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 3, 2016. Visitation will be 9:00am until the 11:00am funeral service Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery. Mr. Thomas was born in Leake County, MS to the late George Austin Thomas and Evie May Adams Thomas. He had worked in the construction industry with Peoples Construction and was a charter member of Southern Hills Baptist Church, where he had also served as music minister. Survivors include is sons, Glynn “Buddy” Thomas of Brandon and Rickey McMillan of Terry; daughters, Frankie (Mike) Crouse of Gulfport, Angie Thomas of Vicksburg, Hilda (Billy) Quick of Carthage, Wanda Caston of Carthage, Shirley (Ronnie) Brown of Brandon, Bobbie McMillan of Terry and Danna (Lonnie) Parker of Florence; sister, Frances Johnson of Carthage; 22 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
