William “Lee” McAdams, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. He was 63. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS and again Friday, June 26, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. Mr. McAdams was born to Billy Lee McAdams and Annie Sue Fondren McAdams on May 06, 1957 in Ackerman, MS. A long-time resident of the Hinds County area, he retired from the Mississippi State Hospital after thirty-four years of employment in maintenance. He was a member of the Siwell Rd. Church of Christ. Lee loved old cars and MS State sports. In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting car models, woodworking, and watching Westerns and games shows. Lee never met a stranger. Most of all, he was very proud of his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his father, Billy McAdams; his loving wife of forty-three years, Debra Perry McAdams; son, “William” Tilton McAdams of Terry; daughters, Abby Alman and her husband, John Alman, whom he loved as his own son and Kayla McAdams, all of Terry; sisters, Joy (Robert) Naquin of Louisiana, Gail (Greg) Crockett of Ridgeland, and Frankie (Leslie) Barlow of Clinton; grandchildren, John Alman and Morgan Alman; sisters-and-law, Judy Bueno of Ridgeland and Diann Stogsdill of Byram; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Memorials may be made to Berean Children’s Home, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or Magnolia Messenger.
