William Gerald Germany

Mr. William Gerald Germany (Bill), passed away on Wednesday, September 9th at his home in Flowood. He was 82, and a native of Drew, MS. Born Sept. 12, 1926, he moved to Jackson in 1948 where he was employed by Knox Glass Co. until 1982. He worked for Bumper Supply Co. until 1988 when he retired.\ \ Visitation will be Friday from 5:00-8:00pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram and Saturday 9:00-10:00am. A Celebration of his life and home going will be at 10:00am Saturday in the funeral home chapel, with Dr. John Cofer officiating and an interment service at Lakewood South.\ \ He was preceded in death by his father, W.C. Germany and his mother Quilla Germany. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jimmie, his son Glen (Kathy), two daughters Patricia Estel (Rick), and Joycell Owens (Glen), 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.\ \ He devoted his life to GOD and his family, and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Flowood.\ \ The family wishes to thank all those who assisted in countless ways during his recent illness. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.\ \ His life can be summed up in a few words, love of GOD, love of family, love o life, but no amount of words can describe the sense of loss all feel who knew and loved him.\ \ In lieu of flowers, the family ask memorials be made to Liberty Baptist Church, as he was a firm believer in Biblical stewardship.\ \
