Mr. Willie Lewis Craft Jr.

Willie Lewis Craft, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, July 07, 2021. He was 71 years old. Visitation will be Friday, July 09, 2021 from 5:00—8:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS and again Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at 12:00 p.m. Mr. Craft was born to Lewis Craft and Hazel Nelson Craft on November 04, 1949 in Hazlehurst, MS. A veteran of the US Marines, he enjoyed going to Vowell’s to eat with fellow veterans. Willie also enjoyed watching westerns, listening to Motown music, and going on walks. Most of all, he loved spending time with his children and his wife of 38 years, Linda Craft. Willie never met a stranger. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by brother, Douglas Craft and sister, Kathy Craft. He is survived by his mother, Hazel Craft of Covington, GA; wife, Linda Craft of Byram; daughters, Amanda (Justin) Bailey of Byram and Alexandra Craft of San Antonio, TX; son, Jason Craft of Jackson; sisters, Hazel (T.C.) Devine, Mildred L. Craft, Betty Craft, Ida Mae Craft, and JoAnne (Leroy) Mosley; and brothers, MacAurthur Craft, Dallas Craft, Chris (Sonia) Craft, and Edward Craft.
