Wincie Snell

Mrs. Wincie Audell Snell, 85, died peacefully at her home in Florence on January 22, 2009. Visitation will be Friday,January 23, 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services will be Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church at 11 a.m. followed with interment in the church cemetery.\ \ Mrs. Snell a lifetime resident of Old Pearl community spent her life being a loving wife, mother and grandmother and serving her community. She received the Lifetime Presidents Call to Service Award in the Old Pearl RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) where she was a member, supervisor and treasurer.\ \ She was preceded in death by her husband, W.E. Snell; brothers: Charlie Allen (Buck) Bridges and John L. Bridges; sister, Annie McDonald.\ \ She is survived by sons: Bobby Joe (Janice) Snell, Charlie (Evelyn) Allen and Douglas (Courtney) Snell all of Harrisville; daughters: Glenda (Buddy) Middleton and Shirley Saxton both of Florence, and Mary Snell of Harrisville; sister, Lecy Purvis of Florence; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.\
