Withers Pha

\ \ Pha Jean Withers, 59, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 18, 2007.\ \ Pha was born July 2, 1948 in Meridian, MS to Allie Pha and James Levon Temple. She graduated from Murrah High School in 1966. She continued her education at Mississippi State University and graduated 3rd in her 1970 class with a degree in elementary education. She was also a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority.\ \ She began teaching school in 1970 and continued to teach until 2005. She was a charter member of the South Jackson Civic League. She also assisted with the family business, Withers Florist. She married her soul mate, Dick Withers, in 1969. She was blessed with three sons, Charles "Richard" Withers, Jr., James "Lee" Withers, and John "Johnny" Nolan Withers. The family belongs to Epworth United Methodist Church in Jackson.\ \ She was a very loving grandmother to three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Caldwell, Madison Withers and Garrett Withers.\ \ She leaves behind many people that will truly...
