Woodrow “Buddy” Eady, 70, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 5-8p.m. and on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 1p.m. until the 2 p.m. Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in Richland Cemetery. Buddy was a member of Richland United Methodist Church and was also a Mason and a Shriner. He retired from IBEW-LU 480 at age 62 and proudly served on several committees at the local union including Health & Welfare. Buddy also served the Cleary Community by dedicating his time to the water, sewer and fire boards. His passions included golfing, fishing, hunting and camping with his sons. Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Woodrow Eady, Sr. and his wife, Zacel Berry Eady. He is survived by his present wife, Jewel Ward Eady of Florence; sister, Jo Ann (Lavern) Tucker of Brandon; brother, Tommy (Susan) Eady of Richland; sons, Ken (Cyndi) Eady and Richard Eady, all of Florence; grandchildren, Chris (Cathy) Eady of Starkville, Heather Eady of Florence, Shana (Chris) Thompson of Florence, Sharla (Derek) Warren of Richland and Sam (Coby) Lovelady of Florence; along with 5 great-grandchildren; step-children, Stephen (Amylea) Babb of Dardanelle, AR, Amy (Andy) Higdon of Fayetteville, AR, Scott (Kristi) Babb of Russellville, AR and Daniel (Mandy) Babb of Rogers, AR; step-grandchildren, Emily, Andrew and James Higdon, Ally, Leah and Colton Babb, and Gunner and Levi Babb. Buddy is deeply appreciated for his thoughtfulness towards others.
